Il Primitivo di Manduria Riserva “Anniversario 62” Cantine San Marzano è un vino rosso corposo e avvolgente, nato da una cantina pugliese molto vivace e rappresentativa del territorio. I vigneti delle Cantine San Marzano sorgono su suoli costituiti da terre rosse residuali, ricchi di ossidi di ferro, con substrato calcareo e radi affioramenti rocciosi. Gli alti valori termici, la bassa piovosità e le elevate escursioni termiche determinano l’alta qualità delle uve. Le uve che danno origine al Primitivo di Manduria DOP Riserva “Anniversario 62” sono raccolte manualmente nella seconda metà di settembre, in stato di avanzata maturazione. Le uve vengono pigio-diraspate e lasciate macerare a freddo per 24-48 ore. Segue la macerazione termo-controllata e fermentazione alcolica con lieviti indigeni per circa 10 giorni. L’affinamento di 18 mesi in barrique ammorbidisce il vino e lo dota di grande struttura, rendendolo longevo. La Riserva “Anniversario 62” Cantine San Marzano si esprime in eleganza e complessità a partire da un coloro rosso rubino molto carico e una varietà organolettica che comprende sentori di prugne, confettura di ciliegia, note di tabacco e spezie su uno sfondo piacevolmente fruttato. Al palato è caldo, morbido, ricco di tannini nobili, con un lungo finale che regale note di cacao, caffè e vaniglia. “Anniversario 62” di Cantine San Marzano è un vino rosso pregiato da abbinare a carni e selvaggina ma sorprendente anche come vino da meditazione, per sensazioni indimenticabili.
