Il Whisky Miyagikyo No Aged di Nikka è un single malt giapponese dal profilo raffinato, elegante e dal gusto delicato, morbido e leggero. È un’etichetta molto interessante, che ben esprime l’arte giapponese nel realizzare distillati di grande armonia, sottili ed equilibrati. L’alta qualità del malto d’orzo, l’acqua purissima di sorgenti incontaminate e un processo di distillazione eseguito con estrema precisione, regalano un’incredibile finezza aromatica, tutta giocata sulle delicate note floreali, su freschi e fragranti aromi fruttati e maltati. È un Whisky perfetto per chi ama i distillati che fanno della purezza la loro cifra stilistica o per chi vuole avvicinarsi all’affascinante e sorprendente mondo del Whisky giapponese, per conoscerne meglio le caratteristiche e le peculiarità. Il Single Malt Miyagikyo No Aged è un Whisky realizzato dalla distilleria Nikka, che rappresenta una vera istituzione nel panorama dei distillati del Sol Levante. È stata fondata nel 1934 da Masataka Taketsuru, che ha unito la secolare tradizione familiare nell’arte della produzione del Saké con la passione per il Whisky, approfondita da un lungo soggiorno in terra scozzese. I Whisky Nikka sono così il simbolo dell’incontro di due diverse culture, apparentemente molto lontane, ma che hanno trovato negli alambicchi il loro territorio comune. La cifra distintiva di Nikka risiede in un approccio ancora artigianale, votato alla ricerca della qualità assoluta. Nonostante la produzione abbia ormai raggiunto volumi importanti, Nikka continua a lavorare con malto d’orzo di primissima qualità, acqua di sorgente leggera e purissima e processi di distillazione accurati e rigorosi. Il Whisky Single Malt Miyagikyo No Aged Nikka, al termine del processo di distillazione, viene affinato in botti di rovere già precedentemente utilizzate, in modo da ammorbidire il profilo del Whisky e arricchirne la complessità aromatica. Nel bicchiere si presenta di colore oro antico, brillante e luminoso. All’olfatto esprime un bouquet elegante, con profumi floreali, aromi di frutta a polpa gialla, sentori di morbide spezie orientali e pepe nero. Il gusto è sottile e leggero, con un ingresso al palato vellutato, caratterizzato da note di malto, frutta tropicale, cioccolato e spezie. Il finale è molto armonioso e persistente.
