Il vino bianco Muller Thurgau è un bell’esempio di ciò che questo vitigno classico dell’Alto Adige può offrire nel bicchiere. E’ infatti con piacere che si scopre un profumo al naso deliziosamente aromatico, preludio di un sorso che si sviluppa con freschezza, regalando una beva raffinata. La firma di questa etichetta è della Cantina Terlano, realtà produttiva che riesce a unire qualità e quantità, dando vita a una gamma di prodotti sempre affidabili, proprio come questo Muller Thurgau. Il Muller Thurgau nasce da vigneti che rientrano all’interno della DOC dell’Alto Adige, nei dintorni di Terlano, comune particolarmente vocato alla coltivazione di questo vitigno. Si tratta di terreni sì collinari, ma caratterizzati da una notevole ripidità, che possono raggiungere anche i 900 metri di altezza sul livello del mare. I grappoli vengono raccolti manualmente durante la vendemmia e vengono pressati interamente. La sfecciatura avviene per sedimentazione naturale e il mosto fermenta poi a temperatura controllata in cisterne d’acciaio inox. Si procede dunque con la fase di affinamento, in cui il vino rimane a maturare per 5-7 mesi sui lieviti fini in fusti d’acciaio, al termine dei quali si procede con le operazioni di imbottigliamento e commercializzazione. Il Terlano Muller Thurgau si sviluppa alla vista con un colore giallo paglierino leggero. Al naso si avvertono profumi intensi e avvolgenti, molto aromatici, da cui emerge un chiaro riferimento alla frutta, soprattutto a quella tropicale. All’assaggio è di corpo leggero ed elegante, con un sorso aromatico e soffice, caratterizzato da un finale di ottima persistenza. Una bottiglia che, tra i tanti pregi, ha anche quello di essere estremamente versatile in cucina, dove accompagna con raffinatezza e piacevolezza menu a base di pesce e stuzzichini dell’aperitivo.
