Il Sauvignon di Feudi di Romans è un vino che racconta la particolare vocazione del terroir friulano alla produzione di ottimi bianchi. Qui è il varietale a regnare sovrano, esprimendosi al naso con i profumi più classici e caratteristici, preludio di un sorso altrettanto tipico, in cui la componente erbacea si fonde con una piacevole mineralità di fondo. Un’etichetta dalla spiccata silhouette aromatica, coerente, essenziale e rigorosa, che tra i tanti pregi ha anche quello di poter essere facilmente abbinabile a tavola. Se volete provarlo con un accostamento tipicamente regionale, assaggiatelo con l’anguilla allo spiedo. Il vino Sauvignon di Feudi di Romans ha origine dalle uve coltivate nei vigneti che costeggiano le rive del fiume Isonzo. Qui il terroir si caratterizza per essere composto prevalentemente da ghiaia, sabbia, e ciottoli. Gli acini migliori, scelti attraverso le operazioni di diraspatura dei grappoli, vengono pressati sofficemente; segue una breve criomacerazione, al fine di estrapolare al massimo i profumi presenti in ogni acino. La fermentazione successiva del mosto avviene in vasche d’acciaio a temperatura controllata, e ha una durata totale di 9 giorni. Si prosegue quindi con la fase finale dell’affinamento, in cui il vino rimane ad affinare sui lieviti per 3 mesi in contenitori d’acciaio. Questo Feudi di Romans Sauvignon si annuncia alla vista con un classico colore paglierino, attraversato da lievi lampi che tendono al verdastro. Il naso è l’esaltazione del vitigno utilizzato, con tocchi di foglie di pomodoro che si alternano a note di bosso, condite da un tocco fruttato tendente all’esotico. Agile e fresco, entra al palato con un sorso leggero e scorrevole, che si racconta attraverso un gusto sapido ed erbaceo. Un bianco friulano davvero da non perdere, considerando anche l’ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo con cui viene proposto!
